DON LANDERS

Don Landers is Capital City’s reigning Club Champion for the past few years. He is a well-seasoned, master-class competitor in Sporting Clays with over 25 years of experience, mentored by the very best in the sport, including the late Bob Brister. 

Don recently won the 2023 NSCA National Championship for Side-by-Side shotguns and has earned multiple HOA titles in Texas, most recently Capital City’s 2025 Promatic Open. 

Don is deeply committed to youth clay sports and serves as the head sporting clays coach for the Williamson County 4H/SCTP program, where he instructs 5–10 youths weekly across all events (Trap, Skeet, Sporting and FITASC).

Additionally, Don has traveled to South America for high-volume wing shooting for over 20 years. With extensive knowledge of the intricacies of these adventures, he can expertly guide you in preparing for your own hunting trip where shooting 1000 to 3,000 shells a day is the norm.
